Ethan Day holds the rank of Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is regarded as one of the most knowledgeable and inspiring coaches in the Kansas City metro area. He currently instructs MMA athletes at KC BJJ Top Team and is employed in the contact sporting goods industry. Prior to this Ethan spent a year serving as a Level III combatives instructor for the United States Army at Fort Riley Kansas where he taught solders what to do if confronted with real live hand-to-hand engagement. He is envied by several mid-westerners for spending half of 2005 training at Brazilian Top Team headquarters in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
